SRF2015 in Whistler, Canada is now over. Thanks to everyone for their participation. The next conference, SRF2017, will take place in Lanzhou in the fall of 2017 and will be hosted by the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP).
RF superconductivity is the key technology of accelerators for particle physics, nuclear physics and light sources. SRF 2015 covered the latest advances in the science, technology, and applications of superconducting RF. There was also an industrial exhibit during the conference with the key vendors in the community available to discuss their capabilities and products.
The technical program included plenary invited oral sessions, poster sessions, and hot topic discussion forums. The main topics covered in the conference will be:
- SRF projects and challenges
- Cavity design and fabrication
- Fundamental developments
- Cavity processing optimization
- New materials
In conjunction with the conference there was a series of tutorials on SRF from Sept. 10-12 also in Whistler at the Delta Village Suites.
It was a pleasure to host you at SRF2015.
